Jungle of guyana

Our Restaurant

Serving the South Richmond Hill community for less than a day, Singh's Bush Cook brings the flavors of the interior to the streets of NYC

Bridging the culinary worlds of Guyana, India, and the US, we serve a wide variety of traditional, classic, and fusion dishes that are spicy, flavorful, and affordable! Inspired by the rural past time of the "bush cook," we have likewise foraged the globe for some of the tastiest dishes of your dining pleasure

A Bush Cook is when you get your friends and family together and go to the jungle or savannah, the "bush," with the intention of making a big pot of cook-up rice. But, cook-up rice is a complex dish, and traditional bush cooks involve only bringing a pot, a bag of rice, and the necessary tools and utensils...

In the fertile landscapes of the Caribbean, bush cooks were done by foraging, hunting, and fishing for every ingredient in the pot

We only use the finest quality ingredients, either locally grown when the weather is cooperative or imported from the home country.

All meats and vegetables are prepared (cleaned, marinated, seasoned, etc.) using a variety of local techniques in addition to its standard recipe, for layered flavor palettes

Vegetarian and Halal dishes are prepared in separate facilities that are kept up to regulation

Everything is $1 because why not
